This is by far the greatest pop-up book Ive ever seen! Gotta love it, well worth the money and is great for all ages.

My two year old grandson arrived just moments after I purchased and downloaded this book onto my iPad, so timing was perfect. He and I both truly enjoyed this book and I heartily recommend it to anyone with small children around...or even to grownups who are still young at heart and/or to those who are able to appreciate lovely artwork and refined programming skills. The Little Mermaid was stunning and now this...

With each page, I kept looking for the x-ray glasses so that I could see how the heck the animation was laid out. Very interactive and a must have for those with children.

The x-ray feature makes this truly a unique find in the store. Ive always wondered how pop up books work, and with this app you get that insight. All-in-all this is an app that has been finely polished and a fun experience to read.

This book is amazing and worth every penny! I read this to my two year-old tonight, and he loved it! Not only does it behave like a real popup book, but you can use the x-ray glasses with your older kids to show them how they work! What a treat!

This interactive book has beautiful illustrations, and wonderful interactive elements throughout the story. Young children, and those who are young at heart, will have a ball playing with the different interactive baubles. Everything looks so realistic that youd swear you were holding a real book in your hands, but the pages will never get ripped, and the gears and elastics that power everything will never get broken ! The X-Ray aspect of this book is what sets it apart from every other book on the iTunes store. At the press of a button, you can see the inner workings of the book with a virtual X-Ray window. Its fascinating to see the physics and mechanics of the book. I showed the book to a couple of young children, and they couldnt wait to see how every page worked. An ideal combination of magic and science. If youre looking to get children excited about reading, this app is a perfect tool. The look of delight on the faces of the children was heartwarming to see, and their giggles are music to the ears. This book is a great value, and children (as well as adults) will come back to it again and again !

This is why I bought iPad !!! A wonderful storybook, and the xray feature is a very creative tool that sparks discussion about how things work. Very polished and highly recommended !!!

After having bought this developers first app (the Little Mermaid) I couldnt wait to see what would come next. As soon as I received the email that the Three Little Pigs was available, I went right to the app store! As beautiful as the Little Mermaid was, this has far surpassed it. The addition of the x-ray effect is amazing! Seeing the inner workings of the moving features is something akin to magic for my 5 year old. My 18 month old is also able to work the sliders and buttons and this allows her to be a part of the story reading experience with her older sister. Please bear in mind that this is the classic version of the story NOT the pasteurized rendition that many of us are familiar with. I hope the creator will continue this trend of non-Disneyfied stories! My kids and I eagerly await more of these stories in the (hopefully) near future!

Suitable for kids of all ages, even my 1+ daughter knows that his older sister ( 2+ ) likes it a lot ;) So many amazing physics to discover, with beautiful graphics and music along the story. Definitely recommend it to others!

This is simply wonderful. My son loves this app!

This book has X-ray vision. I mean SERIOUSLY! X-ray vision! My only complaint is that its not on EVERY PAGE!! I spent over an hour with my 2 year old reading this book and its all he wants to do now. Love the illustrations, but more than that love the endless wonderful dangling, swinging, spinning, rotating, shifting elements that bring this classic to life. Wonderful design. And well worth every penny.

I read about this app in a game developers forum and tried it out today. The graphics and the attention to detail blew me away. The illusion of looking at a popup book with several layers and movable elements is so 100% convincing, so realistic that I was essentially not able to explain to my in-laws, grandparents of my 3yr old son, that this is an app :) My son loved the playable elements and spent several minutes on every page to discover everything that is going on. He is too young to appreciate the x-ray vision, but that will come later. I see us coming back to this app for a long time. Color me deeply impressed!

I think my wife said it best "This is the best thing I have seen for the iPad". My 7 and 4 year olds love it! To get a good idea of how it works, watch the video (URL given in description). The program also comes with a iPhone version which operates the same.

The story is classic. The eye candy is fabulous! Ive thoroughly enjoyed this updated tale with both of my kids. Its entertaining for kids of all ages and fun to see behind the scenes as well. I highly recommend this version of the Three Little Pigs, as it shouldnt be missed.

Delightful. Telling the familiar story of the porcine trio, this virtual popup book lets you push, pull, and rotate elements just as you would in a physical book. The twist is the x-ray button, which shows the mechanical workings inside each page. Art direction, music, and mechanical engineering come together to create a uniquely good experience. (Looks best on iPad, though also works on the iPhone.)

Beautifully put together, my 3 year old loves seeing "through" the book. It would be 5 stars if the story was narrated, my son doesnt sit still enough on each page for me to read it. If I would have known this, I would not have purchased. Please consider.

This is that rare moment when I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This book does all that it says it does, and it does it amazingly well. My 4 year old and I are completely enjoying it. The artwork is great and the technology used in the x-ray part is fantastic! Not only is the book great for children, its also a wonderful way to show friends just one of the many things you can do on an iPad. Thank you to the developers for all of the work that was put into this app!

No audio, its a public domain story, and its $4. I think the people saying this is great work for the developer. The animation is limited and quite silly as my child was bored within 5 minutes. I say, save your money and buy something else.

My 6 and 2 yr old children love this! 5 stars for narration.
